Hello Everyone! My name is Ms. Tehran and this will be my 2nd year as the MCJC advisor. Since I was in middle school, I have always had an affinity for student government and working to make positive changes for our schools. This passion eventually led me to wanting to become a teacher. I graduated from Towson University with my teaching degree and began my career teaching English in Baltimore County, MD. In my second year, I began to earn my Master’s Degree from John Hopkins University in Educational Leadership.

In 2016, I decided to transition back to Montgomery County and began working at Roberto Clemente Middle School-Go GOLDEN HAWKS! There, I began my work with our RCMS SGA and Mrs. Cherry. After 3 years at Roberto Clemente, I moved back up to high school and began teaching at Quince Orchard. Many of my RCMS students were members of MCJC. Once I saw the opportunity to continue working with Mrs. Cherry and the MCJC Executive Board, I knew I had to take it! As a graduate of MCPS, I am thrilled to continue working with our County Councils on a larger scale.
