Andrea Niblock serves as one of the Montgomery County Junior Council (MCJC) Advisors for the 2022-2023 school year. This is her second year working with MCJC student leaders. Andrea is a current ELD Teacher with MCPS at Quince Orchard High School where she is currently the Class of 2026 SGA Sponsor. In previous years, she served as SGA Advisor and Yearbook Advisor at Parkland Magnet Middle School. Mrs. Niblock began her career with MCPS in 2019, and previously worked with Baltimore City Public School System. Mrs. Niblock graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University with a M.A.T. in Education, and also graduated from Towson University with her B.S. She was actively involved in student leadership throughout her time in college as a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity
Shella Cherry serves as the Coordinator for Student Leadership and Volunteers for MCPS where she is responsible for the student leadership, student service learning, and volunteer programs for the school district, including the Student Member of the Board of Education, Montgomery County Region (MCR, and Montgomery County Junior Council (MCJC) of the Maryland Association of Student Councils, and the Superintendent’s Leadership Academy. Mrs. Cherry has served MCPS for 21 years as a former social studies teacher, coach, and assistant principal. Shella is a proud member of Alpha Phi Omega, a National Service Co-ed Fraternity, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, a National Pan-Hellenic Council sorority steeped in leadership, education, and service.
