The role of the Special Affairs Department is to communicate with schools and to make sure that MCJC is diverse by race, gender, demographics, etc. They also help raise awareness about bullying, help minimize bullying, and execute plans. This department makes sure that schools are safe, help keep safety in schools up to date. The Special Affiars Department advocate in front of the B.O.E about demographics, school safety, mental health and bullying, implement mental health programs, and to be receptive to feedback from middle schools.
